Released in November 2024, this 4-song EP fuses Latin American roots with contemporary sounds. The project was the winner of the Public Funds for “EP production and release” from the Institute for the Promotion of Creativity and Innovation (IFCI).
In this case, the strokes are bolder, the influences more diverse, and the results more daring. Ilyari transcends the exploration of traditional genres and flirts for the first time with the electronic and digital world. With references ranging from Dúo Benítez y Valencia to Rosalía, through Michael Jackson and Los Bravos del Ande, ¿Por Qué No? is crafted as an invitation to "be the authors of our own time."
Ilyari amplifies her artistic approach with a unique and bold sound, inviting the audience to dance and reflect on the present, resistance, and care for the Earth. Lanzado en noviembre de 2024, este EP de 4 canciones fusiona raíces latinoamericanas con sonidos contemporáneos. El proyecto fue ganador de los Fondos Públicos para “producción y lanzamiento de EP” del Instituto de Fomento a la Creatividad e Innovación (IFCI).
En esta ocasión, las pinceladas son más gruesas, las influencias más diversas y los resultados más osados. Ilyari trasciende la exploración de géneros tradicionales y coquetea por primera vez con el mundo electrónico y digital. Con guiños que van desde el Dúo Benítez y Valencia hasta La Rosalía, pasando por Michael Jackson y Los Bravos del Ande, “¿Por Qué No?” se arma como una invitación para “ser autores y autoras de nuestro propio tiempo”.
